Music heard at the crossroads of Appalachia and alt-country

With elements of bluegrass and country, Michael’s songwriting style will have music fans thinking he is influenced by bluegrass murder balladeers, Texas country singer-songwriters, and an urge to share stories of longing, loss, rambling, and revenge.

Michael’s debut album, Tattered Map, was independently released on the Skeptic Ear™ label. It was co-produced by Daniel Scobey (Anderson East, The Vespers), with recording appearances by Travis Book (The Infamous Stringdusters) and Zane Williams.
