Music heard at the crossroads of Appalachia and alt-country

With elements of bluegrass and country, Michael’s songwriting style will have music fans thinking he is influenced by bluegrass murder balladeers, Texas country singer-songwriters, and an inescapable urge to share stories of longing, loss, rambling, and revenge.

Michael’s debut album, Tattered Map, was independently released on the Skeptic Ear™ label. It was co-produced by Daniel Scobey (Anderson East, The Vespers), with recording appearances by Travis Book (The Infamous Stringdusters) and Zane Williams.

Michael currently performs throughout the Southeast, sharing his brand of Americana with anyone who will listen.
